PDI & Device Builds

Our brand new PDI centre has been built from the ground up to provide our clients with a totally custom PDI process.  Each sale can have different requirements, so our meticulous attention to detail ensures that building, testing and configuring devices is all carried out according to specific client instructions.

The PDI centre itself is completely secure, access controlled, covered by CCTV, alarmed and all goods are fully insured.  We work for some extremely security conscious clients and as such both the facility and our processes have been designed with security in mind.

We are geared up to take palletised deliveries into our PDI centre, directly from manufacturers or distributors, but we can also pickup devices from your own warehouse to bring to ours to PDI if required.

Regardless of the technology, our team carefully prepare your customer’s devices ready for delivery and installation to minimise time onsite and maximise your job profitability.

Delivery

Whether our in-house team have PDI’d your devices or this has already been completed elsewhere, our delivery fleet is available to safely and securely, transport your technology to site.  Ensuring that goods are properly packaged, secured in transit and insured is important when transporting thousands of pounds worth of technology, so our delivery team take extra care when delivering your products.

We’re a company that delivers nationally, but we’re not a huge logistics company – this means you get attentive, polite, presentable delivery teams arriving onsite to greet your customers and offer an ‘over and above’ service.  Our team is representing your company, so we ensure that we work to your high standards at all times.

As a specialist in technology services, we know the high value and sometimes fragile nature of the goods that we transport.  We offer a ‘white glove’ technology delivery service, coming to site to securely package and transport your technology and unpack at it’s delivery location, at all times looking after the technology that we’re transporting for you.

If you are working on a large project, we can pull multiple delivery teams to site at once in order to aid a smooth installation process and get the job done quietly and efficiently.

 

Installation

We offer tailored installation services across our 4 specialist technology areas, completely depending on your requirements.  Anywhere from simply plugging in a device and turning it on through to onsite configuration, network setup and user training. These services can be provided solely by us so that you don’t even need to visit your customer’s site, or we can work in tandem with your own installation team.  Our professional services team can also be engaged on more complex and technical installations, giving you the peace of mind of onsite, highly trained expertise.

For larger installations we can deploy multiple teams onsite to help get devices online as quickly as possible and coupled with our PDI service creates and incredibly efficient process.  Additionally, we are also able to setup staging areas for equipment delivery within customer premises, liaise with the customer’s internal or external IT and will report back to you at intervals throughout the day on progress being made.

Once installation has taken place our team can also remove any old devices from site as required and transport them back to our workshop to be securely wiped and recycled.

Moves

Intra-site or site-to-site moves are increasingly common as businesses adapt working environments in a post COVID world.  Being able to relocate technology to get the most out of their staff is important and as their technology provider they will look to you for help.  We specialise in moving technology in our 4 key areas of printers, IT equipment, scanners and AV equipment.  Our team can plan the move, attend site and re-site the technology in it’s new location.

In some cases technology is located temporarily, so we can be engaged on a rotational basis and even hold the technology in our warehouse between moves.

Storage

We offer both long and short-term flexible storage options that can be scaled up or down accordingly. Typically, we store devices for upcoming installations or legacy devices pulled from customer sites at the end of their life cycle, ready for disposal. However, we also accommodate loan devices and general stockholding. This often enables our customers to provide a better service by ensuring quick access to stored stock.

With our PDI and installation teams, we can promptly retrieve a device from our secure stock and get it ready for delivery to the customer’s site. Devices are stored in our secure premises, fully insured, and can be either picked up or delivered. We can also manage the logistics for collection and delivery as needed.

Coordination and Project Management

One of the most time-consuming aspects of technology delivery is coordinating logistics. Ensuring that equipment arrives on time for configuration and thorough testing, preparing it, coordinating with the customer site for access and staging, as well as managing on-site movements, can be extremely challenging.
